GENERAL INFORMATION

What do ARTSi Parties include?

Our parties include 65 minutes of art time and 25 minutes of birthday celebration. All instruction, supplies, and materials for your take home project are included. We also provide smocks during our events. We are responsible for all set up and clean up.

What experience does the party host have instructing children?

All event are led by Sharon Calle, owner of ARTSi Studio. She is a certified K-12 art educator with a decade of experience teaching large groups of children.

What do the slime parties include?

We can create a canvas painting that fits any party theme.

Can I request a custom project for my event?

What add-ons do you offer?

You may select Splatter Painting or Face Painting Stations for your party.

What do we need to bring?

You may bring in any food or drink you like (non-alcoholic).

Are tablecloths provided?

We provide tablecloths for all the tables. You will be provided with color options during booking. ​You may bring a themed tablecloth for your cake table if you prefer. 

Will the children get to take something home?

Every child takes home his/her finished art project.

Can I pay extra to have a longer party?

All ARTSi Parties run for 1.5 hours. You may arrive 20 minutes early to set up and you have 15 minutes to pack up after your event. We offer multiple parties on weekends and we ask that you try your best to follow this schedule. 

Do we have exclusive use of your studio during our party?

Yes, our 1,500 square foot space will be all yours during your event. Your guests will not be interrupted by walk-ins or other groups.

BEFORE YOUR PARTY

When you’re ready to book your party a $100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. Not quite ready to secure that date? No problem! We can pencil you in for 24 hours. Just know that if we don’t hear from you, your spot is not guaranteed.

I will send you a link one week before the party to submit your headcount and pay the balance. It is due 48 hours prior.

How far in advance should I book my party?

We generally begin booking two months in advance. We require a minimum of 2-3 weeks notice to host your party.

Can I bring decorations?

You are welcome to bring any decorations you like.

Should I bring party favors?

We do not provide party favors, but if you choose to bring them you may pass them out at the end of your party. 

Where should we order our pizza and cake from?

You may bring in any food or drink you like (non-alcoholic).

DURING YOUR PARTY

How early should I arrive on the day of my party?

You may arrive 20 minutes prior to the start of your party. Please pull up to our side entrance to unload any food or decorations.

Where are you located and do you have parking?

We are located at 125 Main Street in Chester. You and your guests have permission to park in the shared Publick House parking lot.

Are drop-offs encouraged or do the parents need to stay during our event?

We recommend children ages 5+ are dropped off. For canvas painting parties especially, we find that the children are able to properly hear instructions and have a successful creative experience if background noise is kept to a minimum. Parents of children ages 4 and under are welcome to stay to help with art projects. All parents are invited to return for the last 25 minutes to enjoy the party celebration. 

Will I be charged for children on my guest list who don’t show up on the day of the party?

You will not be charged for no-shows. You will be refunded for absent guests within 24 hours of your event.

Do you have a freezer for an ice cream cake?

No. We encourage you to organize delivery for your ice cream cake.

Will there be music at my ARTSi Party?

We play Pandora during our ARTSi Parties. We generally play Kidzbop or similar- Feel free to request a specific station.

Do you accept tips?

A tip is not included in your payment. If you are pleased with the service you receive, please tip the owner directly.

How do you wash slime out of carpet?

Add warm water to a bucket with vinegar. It should be about 2/3 vinegar to 1/3 warm water (just enough to dilute the vinegar). Use a soft brush to loosen the slime up from thecarpet. Then use a clean, dry towel to blot it dry.

Please let us know if we should expect guests with special needs. We strive to accommodate everyone to the best of our ability, and having this information in advance will help us run your party more smoothly, and ensure that your guests are taken care of.

To make sure that you, your child, and your guests are completely satisfied with your party experience, our staff reserves the right to alter or add activities based on what we think is best suited for your group
